A GREAT SALE. The sale to be conducted by Meesrs. Woodard and Shanklin. during the week of November 27, to December 2 at Lexington will likely prove one of the greatest thry have ever held, judging from the quality of the consignments they announce. The list includes a number f brothers and sisters to the greatest of stake winners, and are represented to be an exceedingly valuable and choice lot. Certainly from such a large number e believe the most ever offered in any one sale in this country, one should have no difficulty in picking a "good one." ana doubtless many lare bargains will be secured. Mr. Eneene Leigh will dispote of bis Western Btable, includiLg High Degree a stake winner, Wiedemann. Mr. Brown, Zonne and othr winners. Mr. W. H. McCorkle senrs his entire 1 string, Lightning Express, Fairy Dell, etc. W. A McGuigan send in addition Unsightly, also the good horses, Edinboroush, Dick Fur-ber, Benaaier, Tulane, Deanston, Sarilla, Major Mansir and the great mare, Lady Inez. Apple-gate and Durham will sell their entire string, Merito, Romanoff, Joe Grady, etc. Other consignments include Yobicer, Piicce Real, Miss Gnssie, Caviar and numerous other valuable and useful horses. The 200 stallions, broodmares and weanlings to be sold are fully up to the high standard of other divisions of this great sale, and include both the sires and the dams of any number of the best of Americas "racehorses." It will be a sale that no horseman can afford to miss, for no matter what his wants maybe he can be supplied from the L0C head to be sold. Catalogues giving complete information will be reaoy November 18, and will be mailed only upon application to Messrs. Woodard and Shank-lin. It will prove a useful study. to any who are at all interested in the thoroughbred horse.
