He ran a good race and came strongly at the end under the whip. Tirade ran in improved form and will do to watch. Cjmamo showed speed. Owyhee made up ground from a bad beginning. Dr. Barnays threw Jones and ran away nearly a mile and a quarter before the race but not at full speed. His was a remarkable race and was roundly cheerod. Go To Bed is not up to a bruising race, although he was coming strongly at the end. Ringmaster ran his race. Ostler Joe was badly bumped by Dr Bernays on first turn and was then Bent along too suddenly. The result was he tired and fell out of the contest. Overweights Go To Bed, 1 pound. Faversham II. ran a game race, stopping somewhat in the stretch, and coming again. Lothian swerved and cut Panamint off in the last furlong. He was ridden badly generally and may have been the best horse. Panamint was rushed to the front too quickly by Tnorpo, his usual way of late. Scratched 11998 Ed Lanigan, 107.
