Screech was well in motion when the flag fell and was being eased up at the finish. McAddie is a good colt. He got the worst of the start and was gaining at the end. He laid in a good position to the stretch but had to be hustled hard at the finish as the weight was stopping him. Merry Day was carried along toe fast and tired at the end. Sky Scraper gave him a hard race for the first five-eighths and wore herself out. Trumpet got away poorly and ran a good race. Unmasked also ran a fine fast race.
