Loiterer was rushed to the front on the back stretch and carried wide at the stretch turn. He could have won away off with a more judicious ride. Mas-cagni came away with a rush at the end. Ben Boy was shut off at the stretch turn, but got through and finished fast. Silent Friend got off last and was pocketed through the entire route in the stretch. His race was a good one.
