SARMATIAN SURELY COMING. A telegram from Mr. W. L. Powers to Secretary Howard says that Sarmatian will come and probably James, also. Also Andrisa for the Englewood stakes. A letter from W. J. Arkell, owner of Sarmatian, confirms this and says he will also bring along one of Walter Jennings horses, presumably a good handicap horse. Applications are pouring in to Secretary Howard from St. Louis and Latonia for stable room. All the best horses at these two points will be here. Yellow Tail arrived from St. Louis yesterday and is quartered in stable "W."
