Gold Heels drew away at the stretch turn, but was tiring at the end and Clawson had to hustle him. Browndale was the medium of a heavy plunge and ran a good race, but was probably short. The race will do him good. Bowen closed fast in the last furlong. Competitor and Petra II. second tired. Blue Devil was tiring in the stretch run. but finished gamely. Jack Point showed great improvement. MacLeod of Dare ran a good race for the first time out this year. Dangman was kicked at the post by Fleuron and was of no help to Oread.
