NOTES OF THE TURF. The following names have becu registered with Messr- Weatherby in London for American two-year-olds: By J. R. Keene, Running Stream, for ch. f. by Domino— Dancing Water, and Mardi Gras, forch. c, by Domino— Paradox: by W. Samson. Bonita, for ch. f, by Iroquois — Fairy. Secretary Joe Murphy offered the turfmen running their horses at the St. Louis Fair Grounds a novelty in the shape of a program of races for this week that does not contain a single selling race. S. C. Hildreth has sold to T. D. Sullivan the chestnut gelding Maximo Gomez, 5, by Victory — Quesal. for 85,500. Mr. Hildreth bought Maximo Gomez a few weeks ago for ,0U0. Foxhall Keene has announced that Cap and Bells will be taken to England along with Com -mando after the Futurity is run, and expects both to do well abroad next year. Barry, steeplechase jockey, will ride no more for F. Beard, who says he disobeyed orders while ridin-c Charagrace at Brighton last Saturday. W L.Oliver lias purchased of E. Garrison, of the Criterion Stable, a yearling colt by Prince of Monaco— Trinity for ,500. Wax Taper was purchased Monday by an agent acting for John F. Schorr. Subscriber and E. A. C. Chicago — May Beach has not won at a mile.
