THE APRIL MEETING MEETINGAt At a special meeting of the Western Jockey Club held in Chicago April 1 1901 tho follow ¬ ing amendment to tho ByLaws was adopted RESOLVED That clause IX of the Constitu ¬ tion and ByLaws is amended by striking out the St Louis Fair Association Club Depart ¬ ment of St Louis Mo as a recognized meet ¬ ing of the Western Jockey Club ClubProceedings Proceedings of the Stewards StewardsAt At the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Stewards of the Western Jockey Club held in Chicago April 1 1901 the following resolu ¬ tion was adopted All stake engagements made prior to the adoption of the rules on March 5 1901 shall be respected by the recognized and licensed meet ¬ ings of the Western Jockey Club and horses having such stake engagements shall also be eligible to purses at tho meetings where they have such stake engagements
