Prophetic,, much the beet at the weights, ran on the outside throughout, covered the most ground and yet ra. away from the others in the stretch with an incompetent jockoy up. Honolulu saved ground o the rail and was lucky t beat The Beferee for second place. The latter showed a superior order of speed and ren-a-flne race. Eddie Busch. was unable to concedo the weight. OHagen will beat this kind on a muddy track. The form is not reliable as to the rear ones on account of the big-field and much interference. Ladjr Uncas got n lncky break, took the short way around, finished fast and is in good form. Unmasked, off poorly, closed a big gap and finished strongly. He is improving into his beet Jorat evidently. Cervera saved ground on the turn and then made up much ground and ran away above his mark. Isia put up a first-class race at the weight. Kids race was far above anything shown hitherto. King Pepper broke slowly and raced prominently on the extreme outside of a half dozsu borsea and received a vary bad ride. His first half must have been done in close to 48 seconds. Janice waB hemmed in but helped to set the pace at d displayed brilliant speed and mnst be in very good form. There was a tremeuaous lot of interference and crowding in the race. Leonora Loring was lucky to escapo mishaps that befell Blue Girl and Flora Pomona, both of which wore hopelessly pocketed and hemmed in until too late to got up. Blue Girl must have been mucn the boat. She came with a tremendous bntBt of epeed at the end. Sun Shower, Flora Pomona, Gunfire and Josepha finished very strongly. Par Excellence ran a remarkable race and snowed a glaring foim re- : versal. Hose of May, Hatasoo and Lnx Casta ran each other into exhaustion. From a time standpoint the race was very bad and undoubtedly not a true ma one. Mr. Whitney was much put out over the defeat of Bine Girl, which he ovma outright einoo yeBterday, and the layers Bheets were taken up for inspection by order of the stewards. Water Color set the pace at a tremendous oHd and Blues in essaying to follow him too closely was done to a turn at tbe end of the first mile. Tba winner U a wondifal horse and nothing in this country can live with him single-handed. Rocktoa, carefully saved, closed with a grand burst of speed but Turner realized that he was beaten in the stretch, and pulled up almost to a walk and nearly lost second place to Terminus, which had bien outrun and under a aard drive from start to finish. BlneB is best on a soft track evidently, but ran a high class race today, although giving evidence of bMng short Rockton was easily second best however today. Scratched 280723 Bellario, 115. Bulling-don was lucky, fenced well, and ran the best race of his career. Zingibers race was a big improvement due to his jockey trying today, and was in great contrast to his previous effort. Sir Hubert had really no chance with his very incompetent rider and lost in addition ten lengths iu bumping on top of tbe fallen Orman, which was going well when the mishap befell him.
