Endurance by Bight still retains her brilliant form and practically cautered for the entire journey. Caughnawaga was easily best of the others. Belles Commoner was swerving at thai end to stall off Peninsula which as UBual was coming fast at the end. Lombre was evidently short and skoal d improve. Do-canter, in light, and perfectly handled and lucky, had the benefit of a fast pace throughout anal finished stoutly. Belle of Troy is in great form and ran a fine race, but suffered from a weak finish. Advance Guard stumbled at the start, but was going very strongly at the end. St. Finns was outclassed and out of place. Wax Taper was much overweighted on his present form Water Cure has always shown a dislike for weight, but bis race was too bad to be true. Semper Ira was cleverly handled, went to the front at the ond of a mile and a quarter and appeared a sure winner after that. Cephalalgia finished strongly, but was lucky to beat the badly handled Miss Mitchell, which in addition to Betting a hot pace jumped badly, losing much ground, bat showed much speed on the flat. Matt Simpson fenced very badly and was short. He ran into and carried away part of almost every hurdle. Charagraces rider fell off conveniently at tbe first hurdle. Throw the race out. Lone Fisherman finished vary fait and will do to watch. Cherries got off badly. The Amazon got off badly and was knocked about on the first turn and that destroyed any chance Bhe may have had. Annie Thompson, very p lorly ridden, was used up racing with the winner and can do batter. Lucent was carried out on the first turn and interfered with. Federalist ran a fair raca.
