Tliree Great Sales At Fasig-Tipton Co.s Paddocks, Sheeps-head Bay, IM. Y., on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, OCTOBER 13. Beginning with the Entire Aperfield Court Stud, the English Breeding Establishment of the Late Marcus Daly, on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 1901, at 12 Noon. COMPRISING THE FOLLOWING AMERICAN AND ENGLISH v MARES :::::::: Lady Reel, Anna Gray, Workmate, Puritan Lass, La Belle III., Semper Fidele, Semper Cara, Lela Dell. Lizzie D., Afflatus, Elizabeth L., Argenta, Lucy Cross, LEsclave, Cambushinnie, Optime, Field Azuue, Ste. Lucie, Hermia and Dorothea, and the mare Connemara dam of Killashandra, the last named the property of the estate of Mr. F. C. OReilly. These mares have been bred to St. Simon, Trenton, Ladas, Kendal, Raeburn, St. Serf, St. Anzelo, Childwick, Orion, Melton, Royal Hampton, Martagon and Le Var, all famous English horses. Connemara is in foal to Goldfinch. No choicer lot of broodmares was ever offered for the consideration of American breeders. Lucy Cross, a stake winner, by St. Simon, has a two-year-old bay colt by the great Isinglass, guaranteed unbroken and a grand looking youngster. Lady Reel has a yearling and weanling filly by St. Simon. The other mares have yearlings and weanlings bj St. Simon, Melton, Ayrshire, St. Serf, Orme, St. Frusquin, Donovan, Raeburn, Orion and Grey Leg. The Sale of Wednesday, Oct. 2, Will be Devoted to Mr J S. Curtis Entire Mayfield Stud of Virginia. Comprising the imported stallions Contract, Savile, Royal Stag and Benvenuto, the thoroughbred pony stallion Methody, and thirty-nine choicely bred American, English and South African mares. Tlie Sale of TQursflau, Octofier 3, Will Comprise the Imported Stallions Grandmaster, brother to Oddfellow, and Royal Flush : : : : . : : : : The mara Arrowgrass, dam of Vulciin, Zinone and Blue Grass, with yearling colt by Candlemas, and weanling colt by Knight of the Thistle. Eight English mares consigned by Mr. H. Eugene Leigh and other desirable stock. Fasig-Tipton Co. will hold a combination sale of thoroughbreds at Lexington, Ky November 1 1 to 16.
