He was ridden with good judgment and was called upon at the right time. Rolling Boer came fast in the last eighth but the winner was just a trifle too good for him. Orontas showed much improvement and ran one of the best races of his career. He was going strongly at the end and will probably be a hard horse to beat from now on. The Pride showed his usual spoe4 for six furlongs but could not hold it any farther. Hi Nocker was right there for six furlongs. Uledi died away in the last quarter.
