Autumn Leaves finished fast through the laBt eighth, but had no chance to beat the winner. Inspector Shea tired fast in the last quarter, just lasting long to get third place. Lucien Appleby eame with a belated rush at the ond. Julia Junkin showed quite a turn of spaed for a half mile and then tired badly. Evening Star fell while at the post before the start. Rolling Boer ran a surprisingly good race and was much tue best. He finished resolutely through the last eighth, almost pulling Cobnrn out of the saddle. The Lady was speedy for a mile and then began to tire. Strangest closed up some ground in the last quarter, but swerved in the last eighth and waB spent to the laet ounce. He has probably trained off. Charley OBrien has probably had too much of it of late. He was run into submission by The Lady in the first seven furlongs.
