He trailod for the first mile and then under a strong ride moved up fast and finished strongly. Salesman ran in remarkably improved form and was probably best, but was used up in making the pace with Dr. Eichberg. The latter failed badly at tho end. Sifter ran a very fair race and should win before long. Boisterous and Linstock both showed well for the first mile but were evidently short. Scratched 28324 Eophone, 142. Baby Bill, show, evens. Nearly left and compelled to run on the ontside of the entire field he finished like a Btake colt. Grail ran a speedy and game raco and handlod her weight well. Setauket finished with a rare burst of speed. Cervera beat the gate and had all the best of it but was caught and outgamed by the two-year-olds in the last sixteenth. Animosity finished with a tremendous rush and is in rare form. Glennellie beat the rate and displayed brilliant speed and hnngon unusually well at the end. Arrah Gowan, Andy Williams and Gibson Light made up a lot of ground and were running strongly at the finish. Fried Krupp went well. Tact had no chance with the jockey up. Keynote quit in the stretch.
