Grantor was rell ridden through the field, bat Troxler eased up in the last sixteenth and Revokes rush caught him unprepared. Boot ran his race. Nearest began badly and found the hard track hard on her sore legs. Frank Pearce ran a good race under a stable boy. Ed L., off badly and taken the long way of the track, finished with, great determination and would have won in another stride. Bengal began slowly, but finished stoutly. Tenny Belle ran her race.
