Little Jack Horner was at his best and finishing strongly outgamed Money Muss in the closing strides. The latter stood a long drive through the etrotch, but tired in the last fifty yards. Little Jack Horner bore over on him slightly in the last fifty yardB, but it hardly made any difference in the result. Burnie Bunton by no means ran to her true form and was always outrun, Vulcain came fast through the stretch. Amigari and Emma M. showed early speed. Azim finished fast through the last quarter and was going away at the end. Uncle Tom ran well for a mile and a quartor, but quit at the head of the Btretch, then rallied and came again at the end, nipping Admetus on the post. The latter tired badly when challenged at the last eighth post. Frangible ran well for one and a quarter miles. Strangest and Valdez gradually fell away beaten after the first mile had boen run. The lattor was right there all the way and was only beaten aftor a long hard drive. Hoodwink was easily the best of the others, Autumn Leaves tired and quit when the Btretch drive came. Fantasy reveled in tho going and the result was never in donbt. Farmer Bennett was much the best of the others under tho track conditions. Beseda could not extend herself well in the sloppy going. WoodBtick had enough when a quarter out, and the same may be said of Precursor. The others were always outrun.
