MORE SHEEPSHEAD BAY STAKES. Having just closed a big list of great stakes, with entries far in excess of those of last year for the same events the Coney Island Jockey Club now offers the turfmen of the land another splendid array of stakes to close January 2, 1902 with the always popular Suburban Handicap at tande head and the Futurity of 1904, another prominent feature. Two new stakes, The Quality and The Thistle, both for three-year-olds and upward, appear in the list, but with this exception tho stakes offered are made familiar to owners in former years and are as follows : For June meeting, 1902: The Suburban of 0,000, handicap for three-year-olds and upward; ono mile and a quarter.
