WESTERN JOCKEY CLUB ACTION. The regular monthly meeting of. the, Board of Stewards of the Western Jockey Club was Held on Monday, November 4th, and the following business transacted : Bule number four No. 4. of the Steeplechase and Hurdle Bace Rules was amended by striking out the words "No puree of less than 300.00 shall be given at any meeting where these rules pply." The following resolution was adopted: Resolved, that no reinstatements will hereafter be made of persons or horses who continue in violation of the rules of the Western Jockey Club. Jockey J. H. Slack was reinstated ou condition that he pay a fine of 0.00 reported by the Crescent City Jockey Club.
