Little Jack Horner ran well, but was in close quarters in the last sixteenth. Ernest Parham ran well for the first five-eighths, but bung at the end. Shoreham is not ready. Siphon ihowed a phenomenal burst of tpeed but the fast pace he eot in the early stages cauBed him to weaken at the end. Cast Iron was caught in a tangle soon afterthe start, but got out and finished fast. Serpent ran a good race, but he also suffered from the jam at the start. I. Samel-son may do bettor later on. Tom Eingsley could cot kf ep up in the first half, but saved ground on the stretch turn and finished stoutly. Bnrnie Bnnton ran her race and had no mishaps.
