Royalty, away badly, raced wide around the field on the stretch turn, closed up fast in the stretch, finished strongly and was much the best. Decapo was bumped at the start, but recovered quickly, and went well throughout. Almoner showed speed, but quit as usual. Montoya ran poorly. Baldo was pocketed hopelessly to the stretch and finished strongly. Boyalty, show, 1 to 4. Decapo, show, 7 to 10. Almoner, show, 7 to 5. Midnight Chimes got off slowly on the outside, but had clear Bailing and ran in hand to the stretch, where she drew out of the field with a fine burst of speed. Parsifal ran a speedy and game race and was lucky. Pat Morrissey, shut off and interfered with repeatedly in the stretch, was compelled to pull up almost to a standstill and come around the horses in front. He closed up with a rush and was best. Alfred C. showed speed, but his quitting tendencies were prominent as usual. Torsina was interfered with on the far turn and badly handled. Abba L. is of moderate caliber. Kittie Kelly, off running, stuck to her work gamely and is evidently in her best form. Hairiault was goinar strongest at the end after being crowded out in the last furlong and was probably best. Botany failed to show his UBual brilliant early speed and was outrun by Glendenning for a half, bat fin-L ished strongly. Ishtar ran a very promising race, showing plenty of speed and finished strongly. Glendenning displayed remarkable speed to the stretch, but tired very badly at the end. David 8, is much improved, est a fast and evon pace and finished with the utmost gamoness. Plohn, probably unable to concede the weight, was hustled off his stride and wee riaden with bad judgment, but was going great gunB at the end. Artilla finished with a tremendous rush and ran extra well. Commonwealth Attorney qnit apparently beaten then cams again at the end. Ulm ran well but wants a longer ronte. Wiudward was Bhut off at tho half. El Fonse, up in tho air at the start, ran aronnd the field into a prominent position but the effort tired him.
