Orleana went well throughout, Pompino is hardly himat lf. Captain Gaines was unable to keep up with the fast pace. Miss Mae Day, looks badly and her coat, is rusty. She showed early spaed, but quit badly. Modder waB pocketed and jumping on horses in front of him and his race was better than the figures indicate. Rosewar lacked in spsel through out and will piobably do better iu mud, El Bano showed a lot of speed and was eased up in the last sixteenth.
