immor ¬ tal Touchstone the foundation stone of nearly all perfect pedigrees and her second dam was old Poca ¬ hontas herself by imp Glencoo Tims combining several times over the wonderful Glencoo blood Any breeder stinting a good mare to Handspring has a chance to produce the greatest horse that ever lived and his stud fee is certainly a very low one taking everything into consideration banded together in large numbers numbersMares Mares kept in box stalls well bedded down the charges will be 10 per month when running on grass 5 which must be considered a very low price considering the established reputation the Mel ¬ bourne Stud has for the care of its stallions mares and all thoroughbred stock It is a practice at the Melbourne Stud to try the mares three times a week until the
