Won in a canter : second driving to the limit. Aladdin outslasBed the field and simply played with it. Irving Mayor finished strongly and outstayed Charley Moore in the last sixteenth struggle. The latter saved ground by going next to the inside rail in the last quarter and stood a long stretch drive with gameness. All About showed early speed. Foxy Kane finished resolutely under a vigorous ride, Dean persevering with him all through the last eighth. The Don appeared the winner when a furlong out, but tired slightly in the closing strides. The first two were off flying by themselves. Judge Himes ran a splendid race. Off flatfooted he began slowly, but made up ground fast in the last quarter and finished with a rush. Lyman Hay faltered slightly in the closing strides. Prince of Endurance finished strongly. Vinctides ran well for threo furlongs. Georgia West showed early speed. She moved up fast while going down the backstretch and rushed into the lead with the greatest of ease. Topsoil ran well and was easily the best of the others. Gregor K. tired fast in the last eighth. He appears to like nothing over six furlongs. Barca came with a rush at the end and was wearing down Gregor K. Gold Bell ran well for about five furlongs. St. Minor showed a dash of early speed. The latter ran a dull race and tired palpably when called on after taking the last jump. Mazo showed early speed. Loadstone threw his rider at the tenth jump and Torreon fell heavily over the first. Leo Newell ran a surprisingly good race, showed much speed and tired only in the last fifty yards. Star Cotton was well beaten after running six furlongs.
