If You Dare was in a soft spot and simply played with the field. Delia Ostrand finished fast and was much the best of the others. Moroni tired fast in the last eighth. Filiform finished strongly and would have been third in a few more strides. James J. Corbett made up ground fast in the last quarter. Fade Meny showed speed for a half mile, as did also Annu. He finished strongly and is evidently a good y oungster. The Don s wring wide when entering the stretch, but recovered ground fast and outstayed Jackfull in the last sixteenth struggle. Jackfull tired perceptibly in the closintr strides. Gregor K. ran a dull race, tiring palpably when a furlong out. Agnes Mack was well beaten after running four and a half furlongs.
