LOO AX TURF GOSSIP. Howendobler the winner of the second race was, through an error of his groomyled off the track before he could be offered for sale, as is customary with winners in all selling races. A messenger was dispatched to the stable and the horse was brought back to the judges stand and offered for sale after the third race. A special train will leave Boby on the Illinois Central railroad next Friday for New Orleans on which the majority of horses now racing at Lakeside will be shipped. Many of the owners and their wives will leave on the same train. Several day coaches, a baggage and a sleeping car will be put on for the accommodation of the latter. Jockey Hoar was fined 0 by the judges yesterday for easing up his mount, Miss Liza, when apparently beaten and not riding her out for third money. G. C. Bennetts three-year-old Ed Austin, which was dangerously sick with typhoid pneumonia during the Worth meeting, has sufficiently recovered to be moved from the Worth track to Boby and will be shipped next Sunday to join the remainder of the Bennett horses at Montgomery Park, Memphis, Tenn.
