Ben Frot finished fast and was easily the best of the others. Old Mike made up ground in the last quarter and finished stoutly. Sandflea tired very fast in the last quarter. The latter saved ground by being taken next to the insido rail when turning for home, but tired slightlv when the pinch cam. Henry of Trastamare was never a serious contender. Dr. Stephens ran up to the good form he has shown of late and although much the best of the others could not concede the weight to the winner. Lady Strathmora tired palpably in the last eighth.
