Start good. Won drivinjr; eecond the same.Idogo was reserved and benefited at the pacemakers expense and outstayod them in a. hard, final drive and is a more than useful colt. Evander forced the pace from the start and drew clear when a furlong ut, but lacked condition to stall off tho winners challenge in the last fifty yards. St. Savor ran a game race at the weights and will make good in longer races. Doreen was the best of the others and should improve. Dunblane, from a bad start, worked into the lead in the first quarter, which he retained to the finish, where he was tiring and was lucky to beat the badlj handled Canejo. The latter wag mestsd about early and finished strongly. Ting a Ling displayed improved speed and stamina in the going. Sugden fell away after running a eood six furlongs and was still short. Kenilworth, away running, forced the pace to the stretch where he came away apparently cantering, but was driving hard at the end to beat Warte Nicht. The latter got away badly and closed a tremendous gap and was best at the weights. Gold Bell finished with a rnBh and ran a cracking good race. Erema tired and quit in the last quarter after going a ast half in the winners company. Father Wentker ran poorly. Jennie Hughes showed a good turn of speed, but failed to stay. The latter closed up much ground from an indifferent start and finished strongly. Escarola was going well in the stretch. Dotterel ran poorly. Orsius showed much speed for three furlongs. Diderot broke flaifootod, but is a superior horse in sloppy going and raced into tke lead on the far turn and gamely withstood Formeros strong challenge in the stretch. The latter is fresh and good, but was not fully keyed up and will improve. He runs best in blinkers. Loyal S.. consistent and very fit, was outclassed by the first two. The Major was much the best, indulged the pacemaker to the stretch, where he went to the front and won cantering. Ball Room Belle ran a faBt and game racet but was poorly handled after racing into the lead early from an indifferent start. Little Margaret tired in the last furlong after a hard, early effort and may have been short. She can do better. Mr. Dingle quit in the last quarter. Nigrette did not display her usual turn of speed and ran a bad race. Esherin, nearly left, made up fifteen lengths. Guida can do much better when fit. The Major, show, 1 to 2. Ball Room Belle, show, 7 to 10. Little Margaret, show, 3 to 5. Nigrette, show, 4 to 5.
