Jake Land was under restraint for the first half, shook off Insolence when called on, came wide into the homestretch and fought it out all through the last furlong with Mandamus. The latter saved a couple of lengths when turning for home, but Kelly outrode Scully whon the deciding drive. Sly Maid was hustled along from the start. There was a jam at the first turn in which" Senorii Maria and John Drake were crowded back. Free Admission was as good as left and ran a fine race. Scratched 36250 Hand Rail, 100.
