GOSSIP OF THE TURF. Jockey T. Knight has left Cincinnati for San Francisco, and while at the coast ho will do the riding for the Chinn and Forsythe stable. This will be the first winter that Knight has done any riding, as in former years he retired for the season when the JBespess horses went into winter quarters. Last " venter, however, the boy took on so much weight thatitsas almost impossible for him to train down to anything like the weight that he formerly made. J. B. Bespess believes that by riding all winter he will keep down his weight and be of more use to him next year. .
