Golden Cottage got away running, but indulged Father Wentker to the stretch, whero ha came along with a rush, won going away and was bst. Father Wentker broke flatf noted and forced a fast pace, but quit in the last furlong. Filibuster broke slowly and was interfered with in the first quarter, then closed a big gap and was going fastest of all at the end. Hatidprs3 went well. The others were outclassed. Glissando was best in respect to both speed and skill through the field and led throughout uriextended. Mike Bice made a promising debut and held on unexpectedly well. Phil Archibald made several costly errors over obstacles and tired at the end as if short. He will probably beat this kind with more experience. PoorJands, going well whan he fell, was remounted and finished. Olinthus, although handicapped by the going, was a contender when he fell and can do much better. Glissando, show, 9 to 20. Quiz quickly forged to the front and held sway throughout, but was mildly driving at the end to beat Jim Gore 11. The latter finished strongly and ran a speedy and gamo race. Oscar Tolle broke slowly, but showed a fine burst of speed and forced the winner along for the first half, but was tiring somewhat at the end Loyal S. was outclassed on a speed basis, but went well. Dollie Wiethoff is in poor form. Mountebank away badly, lacked hia usnal oarly speed and was evidently handicapped by the going. Evea G. raced into a long and winning lead at the half and won running away at the end, was much the best and is possibly a bieh class filly. Huachuca broke flatfooted and fell out of it at the start, but closed a tremendous gap and finished fast. Diderot also broke standing still and went through the field like a flash in the worst going, finished very strongly and ran a great race. The Fretter closed a great gap The Pride again failod to stay and quit in the last eihth. Stuyve, away badly, skufSad around like a shuttlecock in the first farlong, closed up ground quickly, was carried wide at the stretch turn and tired at the end. Irene Lindsey failed to stay. Erema showed a great turn of speed. Horton, a slow beginner, had no chance at the start and in the big field. Ethylene got off badly and was never prominent Scratched 36H2IUowaho, 101. Honiton made the running for five furloBgs and tired in the final drive. Artvis did not show his usual speed and moreover failed badly at the end and was evi- dently unfit. Ball Room Belle was outrun from the start and fell away in the stretch.
