Buchanan beat the barrier with Wealth, which got off running, showed the most spned all the way and was never in trouble. Jane Holly began slowly, came around hor field and swung wide, into the homestretch and finished very fast. Epidemic was off with the front rank and was driving to the limit at the end to stall off Marie Bell. Tho latter wonld have been third in another stride. Won driving; second easily. Scotch Plaid had a rough trip, got caught in a jam at the first turn and Redfern had to pull up to keep from going down. He went around the leaders at the far turn, fought it out with Andes all of the last furlong and Kedfern outrode Fuller WDen it came to a finish. Andes was off well, had no mishaps, was well ridden and ran his race. OHagen showed the most speed for the first six furlongs and was probably a bit short, as ho tired at the end. J. Deboe outgamed the others when it came to the decisive drive and got up in the last stride Antonins did his best. Tom Kingsley ran his race and had no mishaps. WhiVkoy King disl pkyed a brilliant turn of speed in the early stages and effectively disposed of Harry New, which forced the pace for the first three-qnartort. LEtrenne was off well in motion, showed a great flight of speed and was never in trouble. As the race was run, Bpnmora was easily the best of others. Agnes Mack was hustled along all the way. Golden Rule was off tangled up and his saddle slipped after he had gone a quarter and Redfern had all he could do to keep from falling off. Captain Gaston ran a good race. Cogswell was the best ridden. Redfern waited with him until turning into the homestretch before making his run and caught Adelante tiring and beat him out when it came to a drive. Treanor was of no help whatever to Adelante when the pinch came. The horse showed speed, but was used up racing with Pay the Fiddler. Gin Spray came again at the end and outgamed Pay the Fiddler.
