Won easily ; second driving. Aunt Polly beat the barrier, led throughout, made a wide stretch turn and won going away. Saintly was always prominent, but was tiring right at the end. Clamdator secured a lucky start, but was crowded early, then came fast at the end after saving ground on the stretch turn. Ben Magen went hopelessly wide at the stretch turn, but was closing up fast on his own courage. Mission is very good, closed a big gap from a bad start and was probably best. Rey Hooker failed to stay. Marelio, favored by the going, ran in improved fora. Skip Me and Sam Lazarus Esq. were practically left owing to a collision at the start. Stuyve secured a lucky start, attended the pacemaker closely and forged to the front in the stretch and won going away. Quiz forced the pace to the stretch, held on gamely and about ran the best race of his career. Jarretiere dOr, handicapped by the going, went extra well and can probably beat this kind on a fast track. Handpresswas a good horse and in going to his especial liking. Homage closed up ground throughout. Pope Leo went well. Silver Fizz was far outclassed. Muresca got away badly, but lacked speed and ran a very bad race. Scratched-;6747 Rose of Hilo, 104. Sylvia Talbot leisurely assumed command on the far turn and, picking the outside best going.always hold the field safe and was best Claude, apparently outrun to the stretch, closed up very fast and is a greatly improved colt. Organnie was handicapped by the stiff going, but ran a fast and game race. Iredeus forced the pace in the first part of the race and tired somewhat at the end after excessive early use in trying to outrun the winner and probably disliked the going. Axminster was badly messed about and carried wide on the stretch turn, but finished fast under a weak ride. Galanthus, nearly left, raced into prominence in deep going and held on remarkably well. Dr. Bernays got away badly, trailed to the stretch turn, where he closed up like a flash, won going away and was much the best. Illilouon practically forced the pace frcm the start and was caught napping right at the end, but ran a good race. Goldone, nearly left, finished with a rush. Chappie went well, but tired at the end. Parsifal, messed about and seriously interfered with at the half, ran a comparatively poor race in going just to his liking. Malaspina, away poorly, took the lead early and tired in the stretch. Lord Badge secured a lucky start, was skillfully and patiently reserved for six lurloDgs and when called on in the stretch he flashed to the front cantering and was much ths best. The Fretter, hard held, waited on the pacemaker to the far turn where he took the lead only to be outsprinted in the last quarter by the winner. Diderot ran a game race and, apparently beaten on the stretch turn, he came again fast at the end. Byronerdale fall away when the real racing began. Hermencia disliked the going and although outrun in the first part was closing up well at the end. Scratched 367853Gaviota, 92. Lord Badge, show, 11 to 20. The Fretter, show, 1 to 4. Diderot, show, 2 to 5. Byronerdale, show, 1 to 3.
