Ruby Ring made a brilliant debut, went hopelessly wide on the stretch turn, but displayed a high order of speed and stamina. Cascine, nearly left, closed a tremendous gap and was probably best today and showed first-class form. Lord Wadsworth, another fine looker, got away poorly and made a wide stretch turn, but finished well. Amberita was lucky and saved ground on the turn, but failed to stay at the end. Canbnicus, away badly, closed a gap and looks like a good one Miss Ragen displayed superior early speed. The entry, show, out. Cascine, show, 2 to 1. Amberita, show, 9 to 20. Iahtar is fast and game and steadily improving, forced the pace throughout and stole a winning lead on the strotch turn, which Illowaho just failed to recover. The latter, on which Birkenruih delayed his run, was closing up vory fast, but a wide stretch turn bsat him. The Fretter failed to stay after going a fast seven furlongs and is very unreliable, Lord Badge ran a bad race. Skillfully reserved for six furlongs, ho unexpectedly foil away in the last quarter. Sir Hugh raced on tho extreme outside throughout and was poorly ridden and evidently not keyed up for such a long journey. , Ishtar, show, ovens. Illowaho. show, 2 to 5. The Fretter, show, 1 to 3.
