Jones began slowly, but quickly raced into a contending position and, coming fast in the stretch run, easily passed Tripp Tho latter got off well in motion, had no mishaps and ran his race. Henrys Sister, always well up, finished with a rush in the final sixteenth and easily passed Kid Hampton. The latter was used up in chasing the pacemaker, but is rounding to his best form and will do to watch. Bernie was taken tho overland route. The others had no chance after the barrier was sprung.
