STAKES FOB MORRIS PARK. Keeping well abreast with the other eastern racing organizations in the general movement to increase stake and pnrse values, the Wostchester Bacing Association has increased the added money to the Metropolitan Handicap to 0,000, placing its chief handicap on a level with the Brooklyn, Suburban and Brighton Handicaps in respect to endowment. It will not be surprising if the Metropolitan exceeds in value to the winner the other races mentioned, as it9 shorter distance is liable to attract a greater entry. However that may be, it - v.ill be a viry -valuable stake to be contested by a crack field, as was the caee last year, when Arsenal came home in front of seventeen other aspirants to its honor. . . , . The Westchester Association has not confined its liberality to its big handicap only, but has increased values all along the line in its stakes advertised in this issue of Daily Racing Form.
