Sue Johnson set the oarly pace on sufferance and was tiring fast at the end, but outgamed Aratoma when it came to th final drive. Peat lacked his recent speed and was never a serious contender. Flintlock was on the outside all the way and outgamd St. Tammany when it came to tho final drive. Ths latter swerved ovor into the deep going in the stretch turn.
