Royal Deceiver displayed the most speed all the way and raced Roll Call to defeat in the first half, but had to be hard ridden at the end to stall off a challange by Josette. The, latter ran a good race, finished fast and was wearing the winner down at the end. Versifier came wide into the homestretch. Roll Call saved ground at the home turn, but tired. The latter ran a good race and hung on gamely when it came to a drive. Masterrui was off well in motion and was a contender all the way, but was tiring at the end. Wnit-more finished well.
