SARATOGA STAKES. The splendidly successful Saratoga meeting was one of the most prominent features of the racing campaign of 1902. For this year such a program of opulent stakes is provided that it seems sure the grand showing of last year is destined to be eclipsed. Besides the stakes of last year, the 4,000 Spinaway, the 5,000 Hopeful and the new Saratoga Champion Stakes, with ,000 added, are to be decided for the first? time. The Saratoga Hanr dicap has been increased in value to 2,000, and many other interesting new features enhance the attractiveness of the meeting of 1903. Elsewhere in this issue of Daily Racing Form will be found the conditions of the great list of stakes which will close for entries at midnight of Monday, March 9. Saratoga is the common battling ground of western and eastern horses alike, and these stakes should number the crack performers of all sections in their entries.
