Nullah received a poor start and closed a big gap while running on the extreme outside and was unlucky to be unplaced. Estado ran poorly. Our Pride is in bad form, but was crowded at the start. Padua finished fast after turning wide into the stretch and ran a game race. Sacredus got away flatfooted and was crowded early, raced throughout in the deep going and tired at the end. Libbie Candid got away badly and closed a gap. Charlie Schweiser also made up much ground from a bad send off. Sir Appleby and Maroma were well up at the end. Toltec worked a rough journey.
