Maresa got away in her stride and decisively outrun and outstayed her field. J. Boggs -was poorly ridden, but ran to his best form. Nullah, also favored at the start, gamely retained third place from start to finish. Montallade was probably short. Yo No Se closed up ground. Malaspina got away badly and closed a big gap. Whoa Bill beat the barrier and made the most of his advantage, ran in improved form and put up a game stretch run. Juana was swerving badly in the stretch, but ran about her race. Ravelena was badly ridden, went hopelessly wide on the stretch turn and failed to stay and has probably trained off. Rose Farr got away poorly and was pocketed early Constanza displayed a brilliant turn of speed in the first quarter. Nearly left she raced to even terms with the winner when straightened for the wire in the stretch, but tired from the effort. Whoa Bill, show, 1 to 4. Juana, show, 7 to 10. Ravelena, show, 1 to 3. Rim Rock moved up fast at the half, soon taking a winning lead, which he maintained gamely to the end. Tom Slavin was badly interfered with on the first turn, but finished fast under a bad ride. Bedner, knocked back on the first turn, raced a fast middle half and was swerving at the end Kickumbob did well and is improving. Horton trailed hopelessly out of the race early and closed ten lengths on the leaders in the last quarter under a bad ride. Roytltv was apparently outrun, but was finishing well. Miracle H. went well. Disturber tired and ouit at the end of seven furlongs.
