The latter showed speed, but tired and was probably a bit short. Sand- ■% wich closed a big gap and outgamed Ouita in the final drive. Kinford closed a big gap from a bad send-off. Ipepmerack had no mishaps, was off with the leaders, but weakened when the pinch came, wieter Sarah tired as if short and was eased up when beaten.
