In accordance with its long established custom of annually increasing its offerings to owners the Washington Park Club has substantially increased the value of its purses so that this year very few, comparatively, will fall below the 00 mark. This great racing organization has a pleasant fashion of raising the value of its stakes and purses each year without any fuss about the matter and this is one element that contributes greatly to the unrivalled position it holds m western racing. All horsemen confidently look forward each year to some new feature for their benefit at Washington Park and they are not disappointed, nor will they be in the future.
