Won easily; second the same. Luckett showed the most early speed and liked the going, but was tiring at the end and had to be hustled along to win. Prism was off badly, closed a big gap and would have won with an equal start. F. A. Bullock came fast in the stretch. June Collins ran well for five furlongs, but tired under pressure. Insolence wore down Rotterdam in the stretch run" and finished going away. She turned wide into the stretch, carrying Dr. Moody with her. Rotterdam had. all the best of the start and had no mishaps. Dr. Moody would have been closer up at the finish had it not been for his mishap. Larkspur ran her race in present form. Corrected weights — Larkspur, 109. Insolence, show, out. Joe Lesser showed the most speed throughout and Battiste picked his going for him all the way, keeping on the hardest part of the track. He finished on the extreme outside and won without much effort. Easy Street had the choice of the going also and ran to his best form. Bank Street was kept in the deepest going for the entire journey. Scratched— 39468 Gold Cure, 100; 39583 Early Eve, 95. Overweights — Bank Street, 3 pounds. No show betting. Bellcburt caught Sauber tiring in the last turn of the field. The latter went well most of the way, but tired. The course was deep, heavy and holding. Scratched— 35802sCubanite, 136. No show betting. Town Moor liked the going, wore down St. Juvenal on the far turn and outgamed Chocka-yotte in thenal drive. It was very close for second place. Chockayotte came very fast at the finish and St. Juvenal was tiring. The latter showed the most early speed. Arti-mesia was badly cut off after the field had passed the half-mile ground. The Stewardess was well handled and taken in the best going at all stages and won going away. Bean appeared to be the winner at the head of the stretch, but tired in the stretch run. Maghoni was doing her best at all stages. Mamselle did not seem to fancy the going. Hie Away dropped out of it on the backstretch and then came again, but died away at the end.
