NOTES OF THE TURF. T. H. Stevens was at Latonia Friday and said: "I am going home to spend a fortnight, and will probably go to New Orleans after that. I have ten horses to race at New Orleans this winter, and if Hot Springs opens I will send some horses there. From what 1 hear I figure it a certainty that they will race at the Springs." Jockey John Hoar is looking for an engagement to ride abroad next season. He can easily ,ride at 107 pounds, but is anxious to try his fortunes on the other side, and will undoubtedly go to one of the European racing centers next year. Khaki, Bargee, Grand Marals, Manistee and Frank Somers, from the string of Geo. M. Hendrie, will be sold at auction in the paddock at Latonia next week. T. M., Chicago, 111. Show odds against Parisienne in race 42722 was 3 to 5. Subscriber, Detroit, Mich. "Vestry was 1 to 2 to show in race 42658. W. McC, Joliet, 111. Show price against Choice should read 2 to 1. John Fay sold Rachael Ward to Henry Simons Friday.
