I South Trimble was a trifle high in flesh, but broke fast on the outside, showed a lot of I speed and had to be hard ridden when a furlongfrom home to get to the front, but had a I lot left at the end and was going away. Our Nugget got off running and, displaying her I usual speed, hung on well in the stretch under punishment. Dramatist ran a good race I and showed improvement. Paul Clifford closed a big gap after starting slowly. Pittacus I was a sharp contender to the final furlong, when he tired. Brigadier met with interference I on the first turn. Niskayuna began slowly, but moved up fast in the first quarteB and hung on well in the final drive under punishment. Gananogue finished gamely anl showed improvement. Conkling was used up in racing with the winner and tired in tbl final strides when hard pressed. Harmakis met with considerable interference on thH turns. Masterman showed far more speed than 1 usual and ran a good race, held on well in the stretch under pressure and was eased up in the last dozen strides. Wire In is a fast breaker and speedy, was a contender for nearly seven furlongs and will probably do before long. Cornwall was coming fast at the end. Aprii jj Shower made a determined effort in the stretch, but tired in the last hundred yards. Elsie iA L. showed early speed, but tired in the stretch drive.
