NOTES OF THE TURF. Horsemen will crowd Lexington, Ky., next week, attracted by Fasig-Tipton Co.s annual combination sale of thoroughbreds. Three hundred and sixty-nine head of stallions, mares, yearlings and horses in training are scheduled to be sold. Many Chicagoans will attend the sale. President Williams says that when Ingle-side opens the California Jockey Club will give two ,000 handicaps every week, one to be run on Wednesday and the other on Saturday. There will also be other handicaps for 00 purses. William C. Whitney has bought John E. Maddens interest in Sandringham, full brother to Diamond Jubilee. Sandringham will, therefore, be withdrawn from the Fasig-Tipton sale, advertised to take place at Lexington, Ky., next Tuesday, December l-
