LOUISVILLE STAKES. The stakes for the spring meeting of the New Louisville Jockey Club have been announced by Secretary Price. They are ten in number, including a stake for the jumpers. No purse less than 00 will be given, with handicaps in proportion. The meeting begins on May 2 and continues for fifteen racing days. The stakes close Jan. 16, and are as follows: The Kentucky Derby, for 1905, for three-year-olds, ,000, 1 1-4 miles. The Kentucky Oaks, for 1905, for three-year-old fillies, ,000, 1 1-16 miles. The Louisville Nursery, for 1905, for two-year-olds, foals of 1903, ,000, 4 1-2 furlongs. The Debutante Stakes, for 1904, for two-year-old fillies, ,000 added, 1-2 mile. The Bashford Manor Stakes, for 1904, for two-year-old colts and geldings, ,000 added, 4 1-2 furlongs. The Juvenile Stakes, for 1904, for two-year-olds, 1,000 added, 5-8 mile. The Clark Handicap, for 1904, for three-year-olds and over, ,500 added, 1 1-16 miles. The Frank Fehr Stakes, for 1904, for three-year-olds and over, ,000 added, 1 mile. The Blue Grass Stakes, for 1904, for three-year-olds, 1,000 added, 6 1-2 furlongs. The Louisville Steeplechase, for 1904, for three-year-olds and over, ,000 added, full course, about 2 miles. Entries for the Kentucky Derby, the Kentucky Oaks, and the Nursery Stakes for 1904 are already closed.
