ST. LOUIS FAIR STAKES. Secretary Hachmeister of the St. Louis Fair Association has announced fourteen stakes for the clubs summer meeting of 1904, to close for entries Feb. 1, 1904. The 0,000 Worlds Fair Handicap will, under its conditions, be reopened to close for additional entries at the same time. The list now announced is as follows: Inaugural, three-year-olds and over, one mile, Saturday, June 11; ,000. Kindergarten, two-year-old colts, and geldings, 5-8 mile, Thursday, June 16; ,500. Club Members Handicap, three-year-olds and over, 1 1-4 miles, Saturday, June 18; ,000. Worlds Fair Handicap, three-year-olds and over, 1 1-4 miles, Saturday, June 25; 0,000. St. Louis Derby, three-year-olds, 1 1-2 miles, Saturday, July 2; ,500. Independence, three-year-olds and over, 1 3-16 miles, Monday, July 4; ;000. Junior Championship, two-year-olds, 3-4 mile, Saturday, July 9; ,000. Midsummer Handicap, three-year-olds and over, 1 mile and 70 yards, Saturday, July 16; ,500. Native Nursery, two-year-olds, 5-8 mile, Thursday, July 21; ,500. Country Club, three-year-olds and over, 3-4 mile, Saturday, July 30; ,500.
