Hands Across was lucky at the start in getting off with the leaders, raced Carraher and Reckoner into submission in the first half and had enough in reserve at the end to stall off a challenge from Badger. The latter was crowded back at the start and was in a pocket until on the turn out of the backstretch, but finished fast and was wearing the winner down at the end. Anti Trust was outfooted all the way and met with no mishaps. Peeper made up ground in the last quarter. Burning Glass was given an easy ride. Russell Garth got away tangled up. - Hands Across, show, 1 to 2. Badger, show, 3 to 5. Anti Trust, show, S to 5. Peeper, show, 4 to 5. t 70 SEC0ND RACE 34 Mile- Purse 500. All Ages. Allowances.
