Winifreda ran her race and was easily second best. Geisha Girl ran in improved form, but has not been of much account recently. Hindoo Princess showed a high turn of speed for a half, but ault badly. Erne had six pounds off. from his last race with Moor and it worked wonders, as he ran away from the latter from the head of the stretch home, winning eased up. Moor ran to his best form and was under the whip from the three-furlong post, standing it gamely. Martin Brady finished gamely and ran his race. Cloche dOr showed early speed, but was done at the last turn. Quidado showed a good burst of speed, but his rider was of no assistance to him. Scratched 36035 Spinet, 104. Moor, show, out. Princess Tulane ran an excellent race and was admirably handled. Walsh laid away with her and timed his move to a fraction, gettingup under a vigorous hand ride and going away at the end. Haviland had no mishaps, received a good strong ride and saved ground all the way. Chub ran a good race, but Lewis made his move entirely too soon and the horse tired in the stretch. Toto Gratiot showed a good turn of speed and with riders reversed would have won. Lady Usk ran to her best form, although Colonel Bogey swerved into her near the sixteenth post. Won easily; second driving Anderson laid away with Silver Fizz for the first six furlongs, avoiding the early pace and moving up when the leaders were tiring, galloped past them in very easy fashion. San Lution was badly outrun for the first seven furlongs, but closed up with a tremendous rush in the stretch under vigorous handling. Platonius was prominent all the way and seemed dangerous on the last turn, but tired. Ulm made up a lot of ground from a bad beginning Louwelsea showed plenty of early speed. James J.
